Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Intellisites is currently seeking an experienced individual to join our growing SEM department as a Search Engine Marketing Specialist.

The Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist will be given the opportunity to lead not only SEO/SEM projects internally but will also be intimately involved in building out internal processes for cutting edge optimization work. While working to lead the SEM team and working directly with our development team, this position's primary function will be to accomplish our clients' goals, which range from improving organic ranking to generating sales, as well as everything in between.

• Manage SEM projects including kickoff, requirements analysis, development, testing and launch along with monthly ranking maintenance.

• Research and analyze industry change/developments in search engine marketing.

• Analyze client websites and provide well-defined strategies to improve site conversion and ROI.

• Create and present written recommendations for SEO performance improvements.

• Manage day-to-day client relationships.

• Add keywords/phrases to site, meta tags, titles, content, file names etc.

• Submitting to Search Engines and Reporting

• Get keywords/phrases from the client. Conduct research on the keywords/phrases using Google (Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools) and other tools.

• Being able to understand and decipher visitor statistics from statistics programs such as Google Analytics.

• Email Marketing Campaigns - setup and creation of email blasts, email templates.

• PPC Management

Required Skill Knowledge and Experience:

• Practical knowledge and experience in SEO/SEM is highly desirable and maintain SEO best practices.

• Proficient with HTML/XHTML/CSS and knowledgeable of best-practices on the web.

• Detail oriented, self-starting individual.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Friendly but confident demeanor necessary to communicate effectively both internally and externally.

• Proficient in multitasking to handle multiple clients/initiatives.

• Ability to work independently with little supervision.

• A commitment to clients as well as your own skill set development.

• Strong time management skills.
