Alex Vasilakos

Senior Project Manager

Alex is an artist and a designer, born in Albany, NY. He studied Graphic Design at the College of Saint Rose and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design with a second major in photography and 2 minors (one in drawing and the other in art history). He has extensive background in project management, and guides the team and the client through the web site design process.  Alex says that his goal is to “make sure the client gets what they want, and I get what I want…a huge smile on the client’s face!”

A secret:  what he really wants is praise and a good hearty pat on the back.  Your smile is secondary, but without it, that pat on the back feels like a blow to the head.  …So I guess your smile is still the primary goal after all).

Personal Facts: He is 100% Greek. Yes, he laughs every time someone says “it’s all Greek to me”…because it is all Greek to him.  Plus, his family has statues in their front yard and they have a place in Greece, in a small village that is not even located on the map. Alex has also been working on a very lengthy and in depth children's book and a world to go along with it. He's hoping to get it done soon and published.

Passion:  Video games. They used to call him "The Nintendo Kid" (Editor's note: isn't that something - a web designer who liked video games!). He is also very passionate about art. As Alex says; "Art for me is a dynamic process of self-exploration and a constructive way to share with the people my vision and world that only I can see. This journey that is created is what constantly fuels my mind and creative juices.” (Editor’s Note: and the techies all said “What?”)
